Conrad de Hus grabs Furusiyya bonus

Belgium has won the Furusiyya Nations Cup final in Barcelona thanks to a double clear of Gregory Wathelet and his AES graded stallion Conrad de Hus (Con Air). The team wins half a million euros and Wathelet grabs the extra bonus of 200.000 euro for his double clear performance after Thursday and Saturday’s two rounds. The British ended up second one rail behind the Red Devils. The three AES horses collected only eight points after a clear performance of leading man Joe Clee (Utamaro d’Ecaussines) and four point scores for the AES registered horses Diva II and Spirit T of Ben Maher and Jessica Mendoza. The World and European Champions and the title holders in this Furusiyya League, the riders of the Netherlands ended up in third this time.
