AES Horses Persimmon and River Rise Escarla are in the Running for Horse and Hound Equine Personality of the Year

This year's Horse and Hound Equine Personality of the Year voting is a close run thing, with the race horse Many Clouds just holding his top spot, with the quirky AES horse Persimmon snapping at his heels. Persimmon won over the hearts of the British public as part of the team that led Great Britain to win Silver at Blair this year. At 16.1 hands he is a little smaller than his competitors, something he makes up for with a huge personality.

AES horses are well presented in this popular voting competition, with the beautiful young dressage mare River Rise Escarla, bed by Sarah Tyler-Evans and ridden by Sadie Smith in 9th position. It's been another great year for the pair, with 'Maisy', as she is known to her friends, now on the world class programme.

Voting closes tomorrow, Friday 8th January, at 12pm, so not much time left to influence the outcome.

Make sure you show your support and get voting:
